Body Memory is currently in the conceptual stage. It is a response to the questions posited below:
What are the sensations of a “gut feeling”? When do we wear our “hearts on our sleeves” and why is that thought of as a bad idea? Why do we sometimes ignore what our bodies tell us via interoception? What would it be like to tune in to inner body sensation more of the time? The answers depend on who we are and what histories we embody.
So if we tilted this and began to interocept from a grounded, Earth centered place, could it feel safe again? Could it bring bring healing? Could our intersubjective spaces begin to expand beyond the five senses and include all sentient beings?
