Bird Portraits

I began to paint birds with gouache for the Hemlock Disappearing Act. Folks began requesting specific bird commissions. Here are the results. In his book entitled The Lost Words, A spell book, Robert McFarlane has written spells to conjure back animals that are being forgotten. May these paintings act similarly as protective spells for each bird painted. If you would like to commission a bird, please be in touch.
